Like my father I am a watercolor painter of mostly landscapes; a purist, using only transparent color. My sister and I were blessed to have a father who loved watercolor and took us plein air painting with him our whole lives. We also followed him into graphic design careers.

I moved to California in 1974 from Chicago. I eventually opened and later sold a business on the Healdsburg Plaza, choosing to become a graphic artist. I have produced wine labels, food packages, websites, posters, banners, signs and a CD for Tom Waits. I am presently a host for Paint Nite, a paint and sip company.
